Project 55 Panel on Service a Great Success

2009 Reunions panelPrinceton Reunions 2009 marked the kickoff of Princeton Project 55’s 20th Anniversary Celebration. Friends of PP55 came to reconnect with classmates, former interns and fellows, board members, and our founders while celebrating the milestones that mark our 20 years of success.

On Friday, May 29, Princeton Project hosted a panel entitled, “Serving the Public Interest: Moments of Obligation.”

Despite a few unavoidable cancellations, the panel was a great success, with more than 65 alumni in attendance. The panel featured moderator and current PP55 Board member Kate McCleery ‘75, (Deputy Executive Producer, The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer) and panelists Jim Floyd ’69, (founding Vice President of Princeton in Africa), Rishi Jaitly ’04 (Senior Policy Analyst, Google India and founder of IndiaVoices), and Charles Best, (Founder and CEO of DonorsChoose.org, a PP55 partner organization).

Watch an excerpt from Charles Best below, and enjoy additional videos from the panel and other events on PP55’s Youtube Channel.
